Our MT Canvus collaboration software makes it possible for remote users to share, manipulate, draw and input information in real-time wherever they are based. It operates on our own advanced touch screens but also works on many other hardware platforms including the Surface Hub from Microsoft. Our MT Showcase presentation software has been designed specifically to ‘show off’ great content but also to make exploring and discovering that content super easy. Now we are looking for a skilled
to reinforce our software research and development team in Helsinki, Finland. With your technical expertise you will design, develop, and maintain our display firmware and software tools required to manufacture the most advanced multi-touch displays in the world.
Our manufacturing pipeline consists of a number of tools written in C++. These tools program and verify different hardware components as they are manufactured and assembled together. The software deployments are managed using Ansible, various production metrics are collected to CouchDB and all this is monitored using web-based dashboard written in Ruby.
The display firmware is written in C++. It consists of a software stack ranging from low-level communication with the hardware using various methods, like I²C and PCI Express, to real-time computer vision algorithms implemented with CUDA.
Requirements and qualifications
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Good communication skills in English
