We are now searching for an experienced
Head of Platform Development
For our client Cloudshift 21
You’ll have an exciting opportunity to design, shape and deliver a new way of getting into cloud transformation. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the technology strategy as well as build and lead the engineering team. The position contains hands-on doing as always in start-up companies, you will participate in the day to day programming and planning.
Responsibilities
- Set a strategic direction for technology development in liaison with CTO and technology advisors.
- Execute the technology development plan.
- Follow closely open-source and cloud computing technology trends and development.
- Work closely with the customers to ensure they are successful using our services.
- Build and lead the development team.
- Create agile and lean working environment for the development.
- Identify business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of software and cloud development practices and data centre / infrastructure / networking technologies.
- Excellent Linux understanding.
- Experience in developing or architecting in hybrid cloud: K8s Container based cloud development, DevOps tools, CI/CD, Automation, Cloud security, IAM, API’s, secure data management, Open source, micro-services, containers.
- Full-stack knowledge and experience in system programming.
- Fluent English.
