We are now looking for ambitious
QA Specialist
You will be a hands on quality assurance specialist to test and monitor to see Puro.earth Platform meets all the requirements it is supposed. The role involves designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
Responsibilities
• To create and run test cases based on the input provided by the stake owners and development team
• To ensure full understanding of the issue/bug and found and report the same to the development team
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Communising with co-workers to diagnose problems
• Designing and documenting common QA procedures
• Collect quality data & perform regression testing
• Curious about new tools and excited to find ways to improve
• Participate in Puro.earth platform development team’s daily routines and work as part of the team
• Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new tools and technologies, reading industry publications and partaking in educational opportunities such as workshops
Qualifications and key competencies
• 2-3 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist
• Experience in using test automation tools (like cypress.io)
• Experience with a variety of testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing and other
• Basic scripting skills (for example Python, JavaScript, etc)
• The ability to understand how REST APIs are used and how the APIs work is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities, including written, and verbal communication
• Independent working style and taking ownership of what you do
• Understanding of one or many of the following preferred: digital assets management, registries, certificate settlement and delivery processes, global B2B payment solutions, company audit and verification processes
• Understanding of quality as part of a DevOps-driven software development process
• Having an eye for detail
• Capable of working in a fast-moving environment
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Creative mindset
• Working proficiency in English
